After flashing serious potential as a rookie and struggling through a tougher sophomore season, Miami Dolphins edge defender Chop Robinson enters 2026 with a golden opportunity under new head coach Jeff Hafley and GM Jon-Eric Sullivan.
“Hopefully he becomes an every-down player. The easy answer is his pass rush, his get-off, his ability to affect the quarterback; but I’m looking for a lot more from Chop. He’s going to line up in a 9-technique... set the edge... reduce down to a 6 or 5-technique. We might slide him around to put him in good situations.”
“Chop has the athletic traits you can’t teach. With the new defensive staff and a clearer role, we expect him to take a big step forward in 2026. He’s a foundational piece for what we’re building on this side of the ball.”
