Still Work to be Done, But Hold Your Heads Up

Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins looked like they belonged on the BIG NFL stage in the 1st QTR Sunday against the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs. But, the Chiefs showed everyone why they are the champs coming back in the 2nd QTR to take a 14-10 lead at the half and then making this game pretty much a blowout until Miami launched a fierce comeback attempt only to fall just short 33-27.

Miami showed resilience and made a statement to the Chiefs and the NFL that they will soon be at the pinnacle of the sport. Plagued with injuries coming into this contest the Dolphins would lose 2 more key players in the 4th QTR… Devante Parker and Mike Gesicki. But despite the injuries Miami QB Tua Tagovailoa came close to pulling this game out. The Chiefs had to tack on a FG with 1:15 to play to make sure the outcome was a win for their side.

Miami showed that they are a team on the rise and every player for the Dolphins should be aware of that, hold their heads up with pride and learn from this loss. Swallow this bitter pill and remember what it feels like. Let it motivate you. Miami has draft capital and money to spend in free agency. Chris Grier and Brian Flores have the winning formula, so just stay the course.
